The Midwest Rapid Opiate Detoxification Specialist's (MRODS)
Opiate Dependency Recovery Program is designed for individuals who are dependent on opiate type drugs and medications such as:
heroin, Methadone, opium or other pain medications such as: OxyContin®, Vicodin®, Lorcet®, Darvon®, morphine and other narcotic
type medications.
Needs for continuing care are assessed during the initial planning stage.
Upon meeting the proper criteria, the prospective patient is admitted late in the afternoon into a private room on a skilled
care medical floor of our JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations) accredited acute care medical center.
Family members are encouraged to be part of the process and are welcome to be with the
patient throughout the stay. The following
morning the patient is brought to the Anesthesia Assisted Rapid Opiate Detoxification (AAROD) procedure area to complete their
detoxification while under anesthesia.
